Marc Britten’s path to Unique Concepts started with a genuine love for design and craftsmanship. While living in Chicago, he spent time with talented artisans and developed his woodworking skills in his own shop, creating unique pieces for his home. That hands-on experience gave him a lasting respect for the artistry that defines custom furniture and is what drew him to Unique Concepts.

Originally from Michigan, Marc built much of his career in operations leadership across manufacturing and business management. Over the past 20 years, he has guided teams in both Chicago and Grand Rapids, focusing on building strong cultures, improving processes, and driving growth. He holds a certificate in High Performance Leadership from Cornell University and studied Business Administration at Concordia University—training that has strengthened both his strategic and people-focused approach.

Outside of work, Marc channels his energy into hobbies that demand focus and precision. He once trained full-time for the U.S. Olympic Trials in archery and continues to enjoy the sport today. He’s also passionate about high-performance driving, where he develops advanced driving skills on racetracks and closed courses.

As he steps into ownership, Marc is committed to carrying forward the tradition Unique Concepts has built since 1994—delivering exceptional, custom furniture with the same craftsmanship and customer care our clients know and trust—while also seeking new ways to grow and innovate for the future.
